    sorted it in the end, I bought a drain cleaner adapter and attachment for the Karscher K2 , tried it up the gulley from manhole - no luck, gently prised open the top drain cover in the pic in my first post and stuffed the cable and attachment down it and it cleared within a few minutes.

    Stupid question , but when fitting a single plastic bath panel is it best to screw the bottom of it to a wooden batten or use a strong adhesive to stick it to the batten?
