    Slow filling Toilet Flush

Thanks all - do you know whcih diaphram/washer it would likely be, or do I need to open it up to check, and put it back whilst I obtain the spare, then replace it? Unfrortunately, there is no isolation for the toilet, so would have to isolate water for the whole house to do this!

    Slow filling Toilet Flush

Hi, I am rubbish (I mean lacking experience, rather than actually bad) when it comes to DIY, but really want to see if I can do this myself. I've watched some Youtube videos, which look like the fix would be fairly easy, but unfrotunately, the examples have all been quite different toilets to...

That's the one - thank you! (Blimey that is expensive for a rubbish piece of plastic!)

How to fix this toilet flush?

Hi, Please see attached photos. This toilet doesn't flush with the button, but works fine when you manually push the syphon down. I can find tubes like these from plumbing shops, but I am not certain that alone would fix the problem. I think the bit lower down, connecting to the syphon may...

Hi, I am currently having an outhouse built, and want to ensure my builder is following best practices. I would appreciate a bit of advice about the soil pipe which runs from my outhouse, to the manhole at the side of my house. The manhole is not very deep, but I am not sure if that is the...

    Pyronix Alarm Install - DIY?

Sorry, but what I'm asking is if I can pay a professional to install say basic unit + 2 PIR's. Then I can add additional PIR's, Door sensors, keyfob etc? Or is there something in the Pyronix system itself which would stop me doing that? For example, can the engineer lock the unit with their...

    Pyronix Alarm Install - DIY?

Hi, Does anyone know how easy it is to install a Pyronix Enforcer alarm for someone without electrical experience? Could I install the whole kit myself? If not, and I instead pay someone to set up a basic system, is it easy enough for me to add extra PIR's, Keyfob and other items to upgrade...

    Curtain Track Confusion

Hi, I'm uncertain if they will fit - I have attached a photo of one of the few old ones left. I have two curtain tracks, each with around ten of these on previously (most now broken, so need replacing). Hopefully they're not too expensive! Thanks

    Curtain Track Confusion

Hello, Had some builders in my house, and they removed the curtain track from my bay windows. In doing so, they broke off most of the track brackets, but the track is intact, so I would like to reuse it. I searched for similar brackets, but could not find any, so instead bought the "Merriway...
