Thanks for your replies. I was thinking it would save me having to drain the whole system, and get the leaking boiler out. I'll leave it to the 'pros' !

I need to replace my CH boiler as its leaking water through the jacket. To save money I would like to remove it myself and then get a tradesman to install a replacement. There is a valve to turn off oil supply and electrics are obvious, but there doesn't appear to be a valve/s to turn off water...
