Thanks all. Point taken about the AAV, will pop a manual on instead. The immersion heater on the tank isn't connected at the moment, so I'm not too worried about things getting too hot :)

Thanks! To be honest this is hopefully just a stop-gap for a couple of years before we make the switch to an unvented system, so can't justify the cost of a ST pump.
