    Leaking Garage

Yeah it’s build off a concrete slab, doesn’t have a dpc as the bottom block is sat straight onto the slab, will just render to the floor

    Leaking Garage

Is this because the render will make the walls waterproof and will stop any water sucking through? Suppose i could always tanking slurry the inside as well and put the cement fillet across the bottom internally?

    Leaking Garage

What about rendering the walls? Do you mean wrap the outside, with something like roofing felt, then batten it all up and finish with cladding?

    Leaking Garage

Hi all, Recently had a block shed built and it’s leaking between the concrete base and first course of block work. I tried to put a cement fillet on the outside but it seems to have made it worse and more water seems to be getting through the block which i find strange as the fillet should...

    Concrete and Water Table

Yeah the sides have already collapsed so will need removing before laying the concrete. Some of it has changed to slurry yeah it’s like 2 inch thick on top of the bed rock. I will pump water out before hand and sprinkle some cement down where the water table enters to try slow it down a bit...

    Concrete and Water Table

Good Evening, I’ve currently dug my footings out for my extension and my BCO asked that half be stepped down due to the ground, however the stepped side has now hit bed rock which means i cannot go any lower and means i’ve hit the water table so the lower side fills around 10-12 inch of water...
