    is there a reg for how thick a door lining needs to be? I got someone to pick me up some timber for an oversized opening, the lining comes out at about 180mm wide, but they've brought me back timber with a thickness of 20mm thanks

    actually having them on the outside wall in the bin store area would work really well, just dont know if you can put stop taps outside. also what about the pipe size question, can i use 15mm for the whole of the pipe work or should i use 22mm and T off to the sinks ect in 15mm?

    I agree, with the 70mm cls and gap behind the 100mm batts would just be touching in some places but compressed by 30mm in others, so i would have gone for that but theres already to much difference in r value, 2.86 for the Knauf green slabs 100mm and 3.4 for the 75mm celotex/kingspan I cant say...

    I know it's a little different cause there's no cavity but I would have thought building paper then something like the green earthwool batts of insulation would be better because you can squeeze that into where it needs to go loosing any gaps at the back?
