Purchased Dewalt from the USA - messed up?

Just to 'sort of' conclude this, I did not receive the drill as it was stopped from leaving the US because, I think, the battery in the kit! Ebay refunded automatically. Cheers!

Purchased Dewalt from the USA - messed up?

Thanks, sense check makes me feel a little happier....! So, no fixed release date yet in the UK; apparently Dewalt keep pushing it out. I paid £190, but with all fees £250. I don't use the T-Stack. So still reasonably pleased (although I doubt any warranty will not be honored, but never had need...

Purchased Dewalt from the USA - messed up?

For info, I've paid import charges upfront. Might all end up a schoolboy error if I need to purchase a new charger! Never mind! Just want to be safe and not risk a fire/overheating I guess!

Purchased Dewalt from the USA - messed up?

I have an old DCB105 charger - I guess this would charge the new 6amp FlexVoltage battery, albeit slowly!? Another alternative - I have seen plus in transformers from UK 240v to US 110v for £10? Thanks

Purchased Dewalt from the USA - messed up?

Thanks very much for your reply - appreciated. It is the DCD999T1 - see photo of kit. I cannot see what charger it comes with and therefore whether it is 110v and 240v - any ideas? Thanks again.

Fitting Fence Panels - Am I Missing Something

Just to close this after all of the kind input above. The spikes were fine, so I just drilled out the old posts - rotten anyway, so not much effort required. In the end we decided on panels when I was able to screw onto the posts neatly, so no need for the u clips. All not sorted, and I'm...

Fitting Fence Panels - Am I Missing Something

Actually, I’ve been thinking about this (dangerous). I could put some baton on the other side of the post, and screw neatly through the fence panel into the baton? Will cost more I guess..... Thanks

Fitting Fence Panels - Am I Missing Something

You are a star! I guess this will only work if I’m using just 2 clips either side. Is that OK for 6ft panels. Sorry, another question! The current post spikes are solid, no movement. Any tips on getting the old posts out? Unlikey to simply pull out I guess. Cut level and just chisel out...

Fitting Fence Panels - Am I Missing Something

Hi All So, panels and posts rotten along rear boundary. 4 1/2 6ft wide panels. Post spikes in ground solid enough. Not done this before, but found posts (3”) and some closed board fencing we like. However, is there a way of securing the panels without lifting all the way up to the top U Clip...

    House Drainage Puzzle

Thanks. I lifted one down the side, and it seemed like just a foul drain. House was extended to the side about 10-15 years ago. The last big chamber does not appear to have the garage and roof water draining into it. I’ve booked a jetting of garage and roof drains that are not draining away, a...

    House Drainage Puzzle

Thanks very much. I have almost bottled it, as I called a small local family drainage chap, and he visited to give his thoughts. Well spotted, the sewer is blocked, so that needs jetting. He also suggested jetting both the gutter drain and garage pipes, as they might clear. CCTV has been...

    House Drainage Puzzle

Hi, no. I tried with the pipeline from a jet washer, both from the garage and downpipe, and cannot see it flow anywhere I'm afraid. It just fills and overflows both at the same time. A bit of muddy/sandy water came out..... Thanks very much - I really don't know too much about this sort of thing.

    House Drainage Puzzle

Hi Guys, a little puzzle! Any chance someone might be able to help with a drainage issue please? I have set out my investigations on the plan. Right, so the issue is that, when raining, the garage channel drain and the roof downpipes drain both overflow. When is stops raining, the level of...

    Pyronix Enforcer Alarm

Thanks again! So, I fitted a spacer, as I had convinced myself moving more in line make it work, when in reality I think pushing it closer just released the switch which I assume is playing up! So a new sensor is on its way. I have made step by step instructions below - do they look correct? Do...

    Pyronix Enforcer Alarm

I think I'll order one. A big ask I know, but would you be able to list out the steps to remove the faulty one from the system and add the new one, so it works exactly as the old one? Really appreciate your support with this! Thanks
