    British Gas just quoted me £3120. I’ve got a local company coming out later too. It’s gonna be sore no matter who does it as we’ve just bought the place 2 months ago! Bad luck, what can to do, it’s gotta be replaced.

    Looking at new boilers.. this company I’m looking at have the ideal logic + system 24, 10 year warranty for £2103, there’sa Worcester greenstar system 24 with a 10 year warranty (When fitted with filler) for £2132. any recommendations? Thanks

    Had the gas engineer out. It’san expensive fix, couple of leaks, water everywhere, Black stuff.. add to that the carbon monoxide alarm going off, and that this boiler is not made anymore, I think I’ll just replace with new. Thanks for all your advice guys.

    I think it may actually be the pressure... there’s two handles. A black one at zero and a red one at 1.7 bar. Is it The black handle that’s the main one? If so, I’ve found the problem. So my next question is, how do I raise it? Sorry guys, I’m actually ok around the house but I don’t wanna mess...

    Thanks guys. We just moved in on June. The previous owner says it was last serviced just over a year ago. When it was making the loud noise it was displaying a small c, it was after I turned it down that it went to F and L. Who’s best to get it fixed? Someone like British gas or Ideal themselves?

    Hi folks, my boiler has recently been making a loud vibrating noise when heating. I turned it down and it’s stopped but is now displaying an F, then an L. It’s heat only I think, not a combi. My question is, with the brand and make, is it worth getting it fixed, or better to get a new boiler...
