Ah yes I see that its the front porch I think people who fitted it bodged it as they knocked some bricks loose. Also those wooden posts are being binned as soon as I get the keys :)

Thats surprising about the survey we have had a mortgage approved and a valuation done of the house does that mean that the valuator went inside and actually checked the property and roof? As I've heard they look online or just drive by the property Sorry if I sound daft first time buyer have...
