    Which lawnmower

Thats where is started and might go back to. I guess as long as the engine is decent the rest can be easily repaired. 5 year warranty too

    Which lawnmower

Oh i don't know, this is tough. https://www.buxtons.net/stihl-rm448-3-t-petrol-walk-behind-lawnmower?srsltid=AfmBOor1qtUMWcHQHMoJ_Fwt4qopwkONIZS4RxUFet8IkIp6bGCSED34 This is the one, i think the old model was 16". The Honda self drive is a little pricey Im fine with the servicing myself but...

    Which lawnmower

They're both 18" i think. Thats the smallest I would go to. The Stihl isn't Briggs anymore (which sounds difficult to get serviced). They're made by another large small engine manufacturer and rebranded i think. What do you mean by Pattern parts?

    Which lawnmower

They're both petrol, maybe I wrote down the wrong model. Its the 448 t Apparently the plastic grass box makes it good at collecting the grass

    Which lawnmower

Ive been looking at a Honda IZY HRG 466 push mower and recently came across the Stihl RM 448TC for £40 more. Its self propelled and composite deck. I know Stihl are generally decent. Which would people recommend? Or are the any other suggestions? Thanks

    Grant or Worcester Oil Boiler

So with the 24L grant, it's still wouldn't be big enough? Thanks

    Grant or Worcester Oil Boiler

That does not look good. I am veering towards the Grant I am also looking at the EV as previous service engineers have said the 24L is too small for my house, which the Grant has but the WB is a 12L EV. WB manual says 180L at 0.5bar in the system, including water in the boiler. If I am reading...

    Grant or Worcester Oil Boiler

I googled it and it looks interesting. I'll ask the installer. Any complications in having it serviced?

    Grant or Worcester Oil Boiler

Which make would people reccomend? I see there are old post of the same question but I thought it may be worth asking an up to date opinion. We're thinking either Worcester Heatslave 2 18/25 or Grant Vortex pro 26. I understand that Worcester after care is far better. I wonder about the EV...

    Which Oil Boiler

Hi I am about to order a new oil combi boiler and installation, and I am confused over what size boiler. I got three quotes, two of which quoted in person and said two different sizes. One suggested 18/25 and the other a 26/35. Putting aside the cost difference of the boiler, the engineer...

    Surging Lawnmower

Whatever position the idle screw is in, the engine surges. I was just wondering that, if everything from the tank to carburettor appears fine, even with the new carburettor before I tampered with it and it still surges, is the fault somewhere else, like the other guy said: It was fine last year...

    Surging Lawnmower

Still no progress and I'm about to admit defeat and buy new. It couldn't be anything to do with combustion could it? Am I right in saying that the combustion sucks more fuel out of the tank, so maybe it's not sucking enough? Could I spray carb cleaner into the manifold (if that's what it's...

    Surging Lawnmower

Oh, I thought that is the black screw over the idle jet. I'll do as you suggest. Thanks

    Surging Lawnmower

Possibly, I did what many online have said to do. Maybe I unknowingly fixed the issue but caused another. Before I enlarged the hole it was surging. Same as previous carb. Still seams not enough fuel is getting into the carb as even when warm I have to prime it to restart it.

    Surging Lawnmower

Hi The saga continues More parts bought and it still continues, although surges a bit faster. I've changed the fuel hose, all the gaskets (3 more between carb and engine), and new spark plug even though last was not that old. I did your test and it still stalls with idle screw all the way...

    Surging Lawnmower

Thanks for all your advice. I'll have to find some time this week between work to take a look

    Surging Lawnmower

I did this. Hold it one way it stalls, the other way it fights me and revs high

    Surging Lawnmower

Yes, last weekend when the issue started. Before that it was a couple weeks old Thanks both, I'll take a look

    Surging Lawnmower

Where are the governor weights? The link , spring and the bit at the bottom are moving freely back and forth. Could the spring have lost tension?
