    Probably or the tapes the wrong way round. It’s a virtical rad and to get that fitting out I would have to take off both thermostats I just can’t be arsed it’s caused me that much hassle.

    Fair play I’ll leave it for now I have a feeling the threads are broken inside the rad which I guess is a new rad. Just spent a week and three complete drain downs to get this rad on and some heat in the house. It’s not coming off

    Ah I did wonder about this the boiler still needs power so I just keep the existing wires in the top block and also add mine in with the others to the bottom connection got it. thanks
