    Many thanks for the quick replies - the discharge pipe rises before it goes down, so I guess without the Saniflo, there won't be a complete discharge ... will need to get the Saniflo working, thanks again for advice...

    Thanks very much for replies and suggestions. As mentioned, corner welds were quite vulnerable and managed to smash these apart. I did also prise out plastic inserts that were holding the glass in place first. Removing the glass made it much lighter and also easier to whack the corners apart...
