Have now made new loop on vent pipe ,now 40cm above F/E CISTERN also checked for any ferrous on pipe . nothing sticking to magnet. water still coming from expansion pipe.

it is raised above the F/E cistern then into a U into cistern

best way i can explain it is: the arrow on pump is going towards three port valve approx 2 ft. The feed and vent pipes are approx are two ft before entering pump.

Have tried turning thermostat down on boiler before. Have noticed as soon as boiler fires up from cold, water almost immediatly starts to come from expansion pipe on F/E cistern

just checked it and still hot clear water at a rate of one litre a minute on speed 1 from pump. Level on F/E cistern still staying same.

but if was cylinder coil the water would rise in F/E cistern, which it never does. Also water storage tank and F/E cistern same level. Tht water only flows from expansion pipe when heating and water turned on

The water from expansion pipe is never reaching overflow pipe. Seems to be recirculating from the F/E cistern. Boiler is approx 3ft below the F/E cistern and 10 ft away from airing cupboard to which the F/E cistern is above. Pump is connected right way round and the F/E cistern feed and...
