    Thanks Ian, I've ordered a new fan speed regulator today, so hopefully that will do the trick. Also, as I see you are Lanarkshire, can you recommend any Engineers that have experience with these Warm Air systems that would be able to work on mine (I am in Paisley area).

    Thanks Bernard, Checked the Heating System this morning and for the life of me, I cannot see an existing capacitor similar to the one you gave the link for. There is however a Fan Speed Regulator (Johnson & Starley S00134). Would that have a different form of capacitor built into it? Sorry...

    Hi, many thanks for your comment. No, I’ve not changed the capacitor but will now look into this. Would the same issue cause the fans to heat up? Thanks!
