Hi all - I can't get my UPVC door to close. It won't go in far enough at either end of the door and the handle won't go up and down smoothly. When we try and push the handle up and down, it makes a cracking noise as it moves. Any ideas?

Hi all, First time trying to figure out how to fit a sink in the kitchen. I’ve got stuck at the flexi hose going to the monobloc tap. As you will see from the picture, I’ve connected the hose directly to the copper pipe but it’s leaking a bit. Most videos I’ve seen connect to a straight pipe...

Ok hopefully last question. I’ve finally got the screw out but the lock still won’t come out!?

I’ve done it! Door open! Just trying to get the bolt out to take the lock out now. Very stiff and threading easily. Reckon I could drill the screw out?

Yep going to have to! Thanks for the advice. I wasn’t sure if it would be ok to just do it the other side too.

I know. WD40 is my only hope unless someone has any other ideas!?

I know what I have done! I’ve hit the lock with the hammer so much that the outer metal is pushing on the lock so it won’t turn. I could be stuck!

Maybe I haven’t gone back far enough.

Yeah I’ve drilled below the keyhole and now got all the metal bits out. Still can’t turn the keyhole! How odd!

You don’t have to drill both sides do you?

Almost got the door open but can’t get the last of those little metal pellets out. Any ideas? tried hitting with a hammer...

Yeah tried snapping but the metal was just bending. Drill is coming out!

The handle doesn’t have any screws on it. I’ll try and get something behind it to see if it’s just some casing.
