Thanks I guess the battery died or something, the bellbox has stopped making noise. So it's a relief. :) I did put the fuse back in but the power is not restored i.e. I can't see the light back on. Wonder what stopped it.

I guess it was on battery and now it's run out since the earlier incident. Is there a way I can get the external bell to disconnect please Do I need to restore power to the unit first?

Power light wasn't on and now the unit is completely off. Earlier the worker took the fuse off and tried to cut the cable to the box but it still looks intact
