Waste pipe to soil pipe leak

Would CT1/OB1 alternative be any good? I do appreciate your fair advice though: better do it the proper way. However, the space I have to work is so tight that I think I am going to need a professional rather than trying myself. Many thanks for your help so far.

Waste pipe to soil pipe leak

I wish I had more accessdo but there is a wooden beam right behind the white pipe, as in I cannot pull back. I am attaching a very crude diagram as if you were looking at it from above. I guess you are saying epoxy is a bad idea and I'd need to redo the Tee connection and into the soil pipe...

Waste pipe to soil pipe leak

The grey soil pipe is vertical, the white waste pipe is horizontal. I attached more pictures showing the location, I hope it's clearer. The first picture does indeed look like a zigzag but it is straight, check the pictures below. In the close-up picture you can see two drops of water at the...

Waste pipe to soil pipe leak

No cracks in the fitting as far as I can tell: what you see is where the two parts are factory-melted/joint together at origin. Unfortunalety there is very little more space I can work with, I cannot take a further-away picture that would actually show the issue.

Waste pipe to soil pipe leak

Hello, Thanks to a damp patch in the kitchen ceiling I found out the connection from the sink/bath/shower to the soil pipe is leaking. As you can see in the picture they have used a massive amount of white silicone/sealant to try and prevent what it actually ended up happening: the sealant has...

    Nightlatch and composite door

Many thanks for your help everyone! Basically you explained the door does not need an extra night latch since it is already available, it's only a matter of changing the handle set.

    Nightlatch and composite door

Ok, I think I am getting there: hole number 4 operates the multilock but not the mortice latch, i.e. from outside, moving up and down the handle, moves the spindle in number 4 and this engages/disengages the hooks of the multilock but I'd need to use the key to retract basic latch. Is that...

    Nightlatch and composite door

I understand this is confusing. Let me explain it better since I may not have been clear before: The door works the same from inside or outside, i.e. closing the door and lifting the handle from either side will engage the multipoint locking system, lowering the handle from either side will...

    Nightlatch and composite door

I could do that but it'd be good to have the option to be able to open the door from outside if working at the front. A dead handle and split spindle could cost approximately the same as a yale/night latch too.

    Nightlatch and composite door

Hello, We have moved recently and the new house has a UPVC or composite door (not sure which one) with a multipoint lock. We need to use a key to lock the door at night because it can be opened from outside using the handle but we keep on forgetting it. I am considering installing a nightlatch...
