Thanks for the help. I have set hot water to be on all the time and pulled the actuator to open so as long as it doesn't go off It should be okay. Time will tell. Thanks

I think Ive had 2 problems. 1 with the actuator. And another where I've had the main live in the Heating on and the live which should be in the Heating on in the permanent live. So the boiler was only getting power when the heating was turned on. Does that make sense? It's like spaghetti...

Silly question also. Should the boiler be on all the time? As in have power to it even if hot water tank is full and heating isn't on

It seems when I turn on hot water the actuator isn't moving across to open. If u then manually move it across and turn hot water off the actuator moves across to closed itself.

The wiring from the metal box goes to 6 7 and 8

Yeh it's only heating the cylinder when the heating itself is on. Although I have my settings in the hive app to always have the HW on and shows its always on on the receiver light but obviously isn't. Not sure about these

I haven't changed anything at the wiring centre that's how it was before I installed hive. I'm trying to figure out what is linked between the boiler and the HW tank that when I turn the boiler on I also get HW

Yes 100 percent the dual channel

Blue coming from HW tank to 14 (CALL) then red from 14 to 8 (HW off) the goes to HW tank valve

I have a brown coming from HW tank to 15 (COM) then a red from 15 to 10 (HW on) then black from 10 to number 3 on hive receiver (HW on)

It was a drayton in before which I believe would have worked but I have not long moved into the house. I'm unsure what you mean by gravity? No changes were made in the wiring centre
