Thank you for the reply Mr Chibs. That is interesting, if I understood correctly, on top of PIR insulation boards, I can lay the laminate flooring directly, instead of installing 18mm chipboard floor and then installing laminate floor on top of it. Is my understading correct?

For the thermostat to 1 & 3, which one I use for live and neutral? I guess 1 will be for neutral and 3 for live? Also, another question, Would the earth wires from both switch and thermostat go togather to "Earth Tether" ?
