Also I replace this cartridge and preset section around 5 years ago. Could I just change the cartridge? Or clean the filter?

Hi all I have a heatrae Sadia unvented water cylinder The pressure valve at the top seems to be leaking. Any ideas what to do? Can I simply clean the valve? Should I buy a new cartridge? Or do I have to buy a whole new preset cartridge with the pipe? Any help is much appreciated Thanks Jordan

thanks for the help as always So in image 8 'If' this is the thermostat wires i would remove the red and yellow out of the connector and then simple connect the black and brown together in the same connector hole? This would take the red and yellow wire out so i could then look to connect...

apologies, so now i am trying to locate where the red and yellow thermostat wires go to. Question 1: Image 8 is the mini wiring centre which looks like the thermostat goes there first before connecting to different wires to go to the main wiring centre. If this is the case: Yellow = Black Red...

to add this image 8 is where the thermostat would like to in the mini wiring station as all the wires match up as the thermostat wiring. Yellow = Black Red = Brown The brown(red) now connects to 2 grey wires what is this?

thanks guys yes i could look to run 2 wires up from the downstairs heatlink to the wire centre to connect to the wires from the room thermostat....is that what you were thinking? a challenge to say the least!

thanks for the help in the detective work In picture 1 the black cable to the left side is from the heating valve i can confirm. and this brown wire go from there to the connector in image 3 - i am 99.9% sure. From the section in image 4 i have broken these down...this must be where the room...

I have attached an image of the main wiring centre where the heating and water valves go to. in one of the images my finger is on the brown wire from the heating zone valve but this connects to a black wire. In this wiring centre there are no wires which look like the thermostat wires...

The hard part i found is finding where the thermostat wires went to in the wiring station. The thermostat wires should connect up to the heating zone valve From what i can see there is a large wiring centre where the valves etc go to and mini version too

So i need to find a way to remove the current thermostat from the wiring centre or where it is wired to so i provide the nest with 12v.
