    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Yeh sorry I’ve set the pir as zone one, no matter what I do it will not work!? My wiring is as above, it won’t even run a test on the device. I think I’ll just scrap tho whole risco idea tbh it’s a joke of a system.

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

I’ve managed to find some old iWISE Grade 3 Detectors… these are riscos own PIRs, I’ve set the two built in resistors to 2.2 each. Does this wiring look ok to you or am I missing something? Thank you again

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

I agree with you sparkymarka!! I have tried doing exactly as you have said there, however the issue is it says ‘type’ - upon pressing it has the likes of OPR12, ODT15 etc… these are risco sensors, this is a D20! If I select NONE then it won’t find this D20. Do you think risco only allow their...

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Brilliant thanks for that. I’m pretty much all sorted with everything now, accept the door contact for the front door, the back door I’ve gone for impaq sc - wired texecom shock and door sensor, but the front door is currently the basic bog standard door contacts as per the first image. I’d...

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Hello everyone, I’ve purchased D20 PIRs but having a little issue with the resistor values, I have the risco Lightsys2 panel and according to the manual it’s saying use 2x 2.2 resistors for DEOL, however these texecom D20 only have the option for 2.2 and 4K7 resistors on the variable switching...

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Your right, I never thought of it like that. I’ll go with normal PIRs, where the dog sleeps I’ll deactivate and just use perimeter protection. I do like the P15s and I can use it normal instead of the optional pet wise mode. I guess the P15 will be suitable for the lightsys2 risco alarm...

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Thanks for that. Yeh your right with regards to the common terminal - its much better than this accenta set up! I’m familiar with EOL but not so much double EOL, Looking at the below manual it doesn’t look to bad, just two 2.2k resistors, I think I’ll go with Texecom PIRS as there seems to be a...

    Risco Lightsys PIR help!

Hello everyone, I’ve currently purchased most of a Risco Lightsys2 system accept for pirs. I opted for the elegant keypad as I think it’s really nice and would look great in our home, we currently have an accenta alarm and have many wired PIRs/ wired door/ shock sensors. Can someone please help...
