Optima XM panel to Veritas V8

Hi All Hoping someone can help me help a neighbors son, who decided to swap out their parents old alarm and got stuck. I’ve managed to do a drawing of what I’ve worked out, but there’s one connection point that we can’t find (guessing under floorboards or carpet). I’ve traced all circuits...

    Texecom false hold off indication?

Apologies for the delay - managed to dislocate my thumb a few weeks ago :( Anyhow, I've done as suggested and here's the findings: Negative wire in panel removed - no ringing. Tamper return touched on bell ring - it rings. Bell cover removed without hold off - it rings. Alarm triggered - it...

    Texecom false hold off indication?

I'd assumed left and right from us looking at the bell ;-)

    Texecom false hold off indication?

Not the best of quality, but should do, cheers. Couldn't get it to upload due diynot accepted file formats, hopefully this link will work. Thanks https://www.dropbox.com/s/mphi6cvv5im3bfd/1.mp4?dl=0

    Texecom false hold off indication?

Bell and strobe test worked fine, but looks like it's still just the left LED pulsing slowly, I'll check for sure when it goes dark later. Everything else seems to be fine and it's my own alarm - I can live with a faulty right LED, if that's what it's likely to be? Any thoughts Cheers

    Texecom false hold off indication?

Hi all I have a texecom premier elite 24 with the Odyssey 5e external sounder, installed about 3 years ago. I've just noticed yesterday that the LED indicators on the sounder are no longer alternating left and right, it's now only got the left LED flashing slowly as if the hold off is active -...

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

As mentioned, it's not a problem. In my mind I would expect welcome back, as I return to the property and disarm - not as i return to the RKP whilst leaving the property. No worries, I'm just glad you sorted the auto part arm issue for me (or should I say - you educated me properly lol) Cheers

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

But it's the message shown as you leave and present the prox tag . . . . . Just seems odd - certainly not a problem (was just wondering, as most of the other Global Text is customisable)

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Deselected, tested and obviously works as it should. Thanks Just a daft one, as I'm sure it can't be changed - why do the RKP's say "Welcome" when you're leaving the property, surly it should say Goodbye or Wintex should allow us an option to change it? Cheers

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

So sorry for not picking up on that. I'll deselect it now. Big thanks for the help.

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Hadn't noticed that until taking the pic lol. I have no experience of auto part arm and don't think I want it - if its what it says on the can. We would only want to manually set part or full arms. Should I deselect area B from all options and deselect auto part arm from area A? Is it easy...

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Via prox tag on exit, not via the app red button.

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Area B text removed and panel sync carried out. It's tidied the App up, to only have one page/screen - thanks

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Any red indications your seeing are from prox tag sets only.

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

OK, I'll remove the area B text and panel sync. Meantime, here's a pic of the log from the full arm set I've just tried from the App. It does show exit started, but obviously it won't see that exit activate as I'm using the app and may not be at home at the time. Full arm/red on the app clock...

Texecom App full arm button incorrect

Area B named as 'not used' isn't assigned to any of the zones in Wintex. As you can see, not activity registered on that area at all. Ta
