When you are on CH. the system water will expand and show this on the pressure gauge. Depending on the temperature setting the amount of expansion will vary, around 2 bar is acceptable. As the water cools the pressure in the system will drop. Can not identify a connection with this and the 03 fault.

Sound as the boiler may be ketteling due to an internal flow restriction. Is the system water showing any sign of discoloration. I dont think a full cleansing ie Descale,complete flush and then inhibitor would go a miss.

First thing that would be questioned is the present pressure in your expansion vessel. If the cold fill pressure is 1.8 bar then the vessel should be filled to a minimum of 1.8 bar. What fault have you identified with CH switch.

If the boiler was not installed by a recognised installer then I would advise you contact one and have the boiler properly commissioned. During the commission proceedure any plumbing faults would be corrected and more importantly the gas install/rating would be checked.

Any ideas on the reason for this boiler not firing. Flue fan is running, Air pressure switch seems ok, pump is running and the pilot is established. The main gas will not fire. Appreciate any response.

Having trouble with the boiler flow water temperature not going any higher than around 30c. When this temp is reached the boiler then modulates on - off around 30c with the temp control set at max. Any ideas please.
