It’s in a wardrobe in a bedroom it also looks like the same stuff is painted thinly on our porch ceiling. I just couldn’t make up my mind if it’s artex or not. Thanks for replying

Sorry mate, a bit of context, it’s interior and it’s in various places. This particular place is inside a a sort of built in wardrobe, and it’s probably been there for some time. It kind of looks like paint with grit in it and in some areas it’s a thicker.
