Rough cost to fix sagging roof

The purlin is opposite the rafters. So does 10k sound reasonable then? Struggling to get hold of any other roofers

Rough cost to fix sagging roof

Thanks for the responses. The builder said he thinks the roof is original so it did confuse me when he said the rafters are undersized. I will get more quotes.

Rough cost to fix sagging roof

Hi all, I own an Edwardian end terrace house that’s roof has a small sag in the middle. Also, the flashings around the chimney have come loose. Just wondering (roughly) how much this could cost to fix? We’ve had a quote from a builder of £10k as they think the rafters are undersized to support...

    Water hammer arrester

I got quoted £160 not including materials so £220 if you add on the water arresters. Rip off surely

    Flexipan connector tear

I feel like I’m entitled to a discount at least since my problem wasn’t sorted. I’m still not convinced it’s rats as I know what a tensile fracture looks like and like I said no bite marks. I have a degree in metallurgy so yeah I think I can identify a tensile fracture. I’ve messaged saying that...

    Flexipan connector tear

Plumber said there isn’t enough room under there to fit rigid pan connector (he said he tried originally but there were pipes in the way) so had to use flexi. I feel like he did a bodge job

    Flexipan connector tear

Both what? There is no room for rats or mice to enter the small space behind the loo so don’t see how it could be rodents.

    Flexipan connector tear

Hi, My toilet started leaking a month ago and plumber came out and found the flexipan connector had split (see first image). He fitted a new McAlpine flexipan connector and a month later it has split again (see second and third image). Plumber is saying he thinks it’s rodent damage but the...
