If I want to store some equipment in here, should I insulate with foil backed bubble wrap? If I do that, do I need to cover it with some thin plywood or something?

Well, obviously they go on the shiplap. But, that doesn't negate my point of them being potentially backwards. The pin can either face one way or the other way, it doesn't look the same on both orientations.

Do you think I could attach a piece of the shiplap to the bottom of each door sideways instead of the arris rail to achieve the same effect?

Also, I noticed some water at the bottom front and left following heavy rain. Any idea of what I can do to help with this? It's subtly exposed. Can I cover it with some tape or something?
