If I want to store some equipment in here, should I insulate with foil backed bubble wrap? If I do that, do I need to cover it with some thin plywood or something?

Well, obviously they go on the shiplap. But, that doesn't negate my point of them being potentially backwards. The pin can either face one way or the other way, it doesn't look the same on both orientations.

I've used plastic strips to help further water proof. Also, the is a gap between my doors and the side panels. I plan to cover the side panels with shiplap pieces. However, if I open my doors, the gap between my doors and the side panels closes, so I can't put shiplap over that space. Have I...

At the bottom of the door, it's literally 1mm exposure on one side and 2mm exposure on the other side. Could I just put some kind of tape down on the edge to help with this?

So, you're saying a fascia should go at the front in front of the nails? Should it go into the roof piece or just below it and finish before the doors? Also, I am not quite understanding the last paragraph?

    Shed build advice

Hi, I am a first time shed builder for my garden. I have simply tried to copy the steps of the shed my builder made for me some time ago. Now, I am a little confused. I am reading in some places to add fascia boards around the top where the felt is nailed and in other places not to. Can...

    Unknown beam in loft

Hello, I have a number of wooden items running from side to side in my loft. However, I am unsure if this diagonal beam in the picture attached is doing anything? For context, my very old loft satellite was affixed to it. Now, one side is in the brickwork attached to my neighbours wall and the...
