    I dont have a better picture as file size is too big. Its anthracite though but the gap is probs just over an inch on left filled with expansion foam and 2 inches on right filled with expansion foam and timber?

    I am after some advice. A friend of ours is a ‘builder’, he built our extension inc these bloody bifolds which quite frankly I wish he hadn’t. As you can see the fitting from the external (posted below), I need some help on trimming in the gaps. Any ideas?

    Ah okay thought it was that. They have visited at every stage so far and we can get it signed off once aco drain around property sorted. The other option we have is having the aco drains and then patio can be level with DPC i believe but not overkeen on that idea

    Not sure then. Tbh I left all the planning permission etc with the architect, builder and building control. If we have full planning permission could Southern Water still get involved and object to what we do? Worried now

    It is our responsibility. Any blockages etc we are responsible for.

    I have seen the Southern Water records myself and it doesn’t show on there. Our architect needed to see where it ran too. Im going to call Building Control tomorrow to discuss it with them.

    We are the 2nd to last it serves. But its definitely privately owned by someone as it doesnt show on Southern or South East water records and to get planning permission we had to pay a lot of money for a CCTV survey to see where it lead too. All we want to do is lower the height.
