New boiler. Hight Street or Back Street fitter?

Hey i never said the back street fitter would be incompetent. They would have been a qualified plumber doing a govy job to earn some extra cash. If i wanted an incompetent fitter i would do it myself!

Is my water tank plumbed in upside down?

Well at least you tried. Thanks My plan of action then is to check there is no air in the system and if not switch over the cylinder feeds. Im still convinced its this as when the boiler is heating the water the top feed on the cylinder is red hot but the bottom is stone cold.
