    I had an electriction rewire the house just before xmas. I have just discovered the earth wire, that is supposed to be attached to the water mains has not. The cable has just been thrown under the kitchen units. How dangerous is this and what should I do?

    Forgive me, what do you mean? Do you mean place an earth rod next to the shed and connect the shed to it? Can I then use that as the earth for all the shed wiring??
