Just wanted to update everyone that contributed and let you know it's all sorted! It was, as suspected, that the imperial calculation was being used rather than m3. Everything now on track. Thanks all.

I've done most of what you suggest. There own data is damning. The meter readings look correct. It is how they then convert to KwH that seems to be the problem.

I've no idea unfortunately. What I refer to as our "smart meter" is just the external meter that sends SMS to our provider.

It is crazy! Not sure of others having same problem, but I do agree there must be more having the same issue. What's even worse is I've already taken this on twice before with OVO and basically been told that it is what it is. It's only now that I've really done my homework and THINK I'm onto...

Those are the kWh numbers reported on the app daily. Just wasn't available in the same format. Here's where I got the kwh data from.

Thank you. Yes, I've used that and tbh was what first alerted me to how similar the kWh numbers were if I pressed the imperial option.

I think they realised there was an error and put a hold on the account for 30 days. Not really sure what that means other than perhaps no further upward movement on my DD from the recent increase to £590 per month!!!! They're so kind

Unable to pull from OVO, but took the number they reported and added to the meter readings. Hope this helps.

I've spoken to them at length, sent them the meter photo and shared my data. FYI - yesterday's usage according to the meter was 14.3m3, and OVO reporting as 448kwh! My calculation works out at 158kwh. Does that make sense?

Haha...sadly not. Just a very modest 3 bed bungalow.

May I ask what model you have and what it's max output is? Ours is a C35 and from what I have found online the max output is 24kw.

Thanks for asking. I can only see a daily usage on the OVO app, and outside temperature has been around 3c (for what seems like forever!).
