    UFH running too hot

Setting 1 the loop flow rates dropped slightly Setting 2 maintained the loop flow rates However the minimum temperature was 40c. I changed the blender and it started to control the temperature of the water. Changed the pump setting to the original and the flow rates dropped. Set it on...

    UFH running too hot

Despite saying I wouldn't do any further work until Monday, From the responses receive I did the following. Setting the blender to minimum I could hear the blender doing its work. Set midway the flow rates on the loops were correct. Set to minimum they dropped. With the blender set midway when...

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Lots for ne to try, plus a replacement blender valve has arrived. She who must be obeyed has decreed no more UFH work until Monday. I'll provide an update on progress next week

    UFH running too hot

Thanks Johntheo5, I'm out at the moment so I'll check when I get back later today. I'll put the radiators on as suggested and see what the UFH temperatures are like then. I don't understand why the blender is letting the water temperature get so high. It appears to be passing all the heat from...

    UFH running too hot

I've got thermometers on the flow and return of the manifold. Also got a hand held thermometer. The temperature of the loops is the same as the flow from the boiler 48c no matter what I set the blender to. The return pipe is getting warm, Wunda say the 22mm feed from the boiier should be 15mm...

    UFH running too hot

Thank you for your reply. The boiler is a Bosch Worcester CDi I'm not sure what the minimum output is, where would I find that? As far as I am aware there is no air in the system. I have run water through the loops until I no longer had air bubbles and there is no air coming out of the bleed...

    UFH running too hot

I am commissioning my Wunda UFH. All the flow rates have been set up as per the design. No matter what I set the blender to the flow temperature rises to 50c and drops to 30c as the boiler cycles. In addition if I set the blender to minimum the flow rates on each circuit drop to below 1 L/m from...
