    Manifold question

Thanks for your advise everyone. Waterworks, you were spot on. Moved the left hand pipe to the third from the left outlet (I could not get the other two on the left to undo without possibly snaping something). Worked great. Thanks again

    Manifold question

Sorry for seeming a bit thick, but just to make it clear are you saying - Looking at my photo move the left hand pipe (out of the two in the top right of the photo) and move it along the same side on the manifold but to the left hand end in the photo? Don't forget there is six outlets under...

Just double checked. The pipes from the radiators that the manfold feeds are coming and going from this Manifold, on looking closer some auctually come out and go back in the same side of the Manifold.

    Manifold question

Thanks for the quick reply. I do have another Manifold but this is servicing other radiators. I'm sure that this Manifold has the radiators branching off it and returning to it, I can see the pipes. So do you think the problem is I have the flow and return on the same side and the Manifold is...

    Hair Felt Lagging for Screed?

Hi I need to put some radiator pipes in concrete screed. I have been told to use Hair felt lagging of the tubular sleeve kind to cover them in. Is it right that there is a special kind of hair felt lagging that has a plastic sleeve inside which is used especially for concrete screed or is it...

    F & E Tank Question

Thank you everybody for your advice. As to the Power flushing, no I did not have it power flushed before the Boiler was fitted. F & E Tank Question

I have done as you advised and at first test the upstairs zone was run for 45 minutes and I never seemed to lose any water from the tank. I run the downstairs zone for 45 minutes and there has been a drop in the water level in the tank. I see no leaks anywhere downstairs. I will do this test...

    F & E Tank Question

Thank you for your reply, I will try what you have said. I'm not sure what you mean by one or two inches above the feed to the C/H system. Do you mean one or two inches above the outlet pipe on the F&E tank, so the f&E Tank should be near empty? By the way my F & E Tank is raised up about...

    F & E Tank Question

Thanks for the replys. The thing about the flow and return pipes is that the TRVs were on the correct ends before I had the pipework changed for the new boiler. Is it possible for the flow and return pipes to be connected to the boiler wrong? Why should the original return pipes get hot...
