I got a new meter, both sensors DHW and CH show 5kr, the overheat sensor shows 0, should the system be switched on or off to take the measurement? What Volts feed the fan terminals, I dont think power is getting to it (which could be due to a sensor problem, I guess)

tried basic system 848A version 5 2 amd 462/socket A processors (it doesnt say on them what they are, but both have been taken from working systems) 400 mhz memory (have tried PC 2100 also)

Oh and it appears to be that there is no power to the fan when the CH and DHW are switched on and the red and amber lights are lit.

Of course I did that already, I think the processor is at fault, everything else is brand new!! ALthough the processor was taken from a working system, maybe it is not new enough for this motherboard. It says "Semperon ready", I used a MB that said "XP ready" and it woudlnt work with Win 98, so...

Everything apears to be plugged in tight.

orange has 2 symbol looks like a bird house and a fan (think it is flue and fan) the red one looks like a thermometer (obviuosly temperature problem) the fan turns very easily but does not start.

Oh and when the boiler is set to CH and DHW, both flow switches show continuity.

My meter may be faulty. When I touch the two probes together it registers 5kr, when I touch a piece of metal with both probes metal it shows 5kr. When I check the overheat sensor it shows 5 kr, but when I check the DHW sensor it shows a reading below 0kr??? I am sure touching the probes...

ok, the main system flow switch is fully extended. I agree it could be something to with flow though. FYI it is an original pump, and does have 3 settings, although by the sounds of it on the lowest setting it seems to be off, which is unusual for a grundfos pump. And the little white "reset"...

If you mean the diverter switch for DHW, then it seems to operate ok. I have had a development. I only get the problem when the selector is switched to CH AND HW, when I get it going if I leave in the HW only position it seems (at the moment) to work ok.
