Thank-you for your reply. :) When we've turned the machine on, it does take in water, and we can hear the arms going round. Then after about 5 mins it stops and we hear it pumping out. When we open the door there's drops of water in there, and when we touch the top arm, water drips out, so...

Car boot? :lol: A shop. They said it was brand new (it still had all the film on the door etc) but end of line. I just wanted to get it working tonight if possible, if not I'll have to phone tomorrow and shout at them.

I hope someone will be able to help me. I've just purchased a Smeg DF612SE but it wont run a cycle. I keep getting error E8 - 'anomaly in the system which distributes water to the basket (where installed)' Now, I presume this meens the top arm, as that's the one attatched to the basket...
