    Old plaster

    Just removed all paper from bedroom walls, plaster below is very dusty and looks porous with some loose areas. Can walls be patched up and then sealed with PVA coat or is it a strip and re-plaster job. All responses appreciated

    SDS Drill worry

    Thanks for all the replies, I'm going to ditch my non clutch beast and spend at bit more, Screwfix do some I think. Just a point though, with all the dangers of using one without clutch, why are they allowed, they should be banned.

    Thanks for the responses, Ebee, yes I took a known good bulb and that doesn't work I have removed roses but nothing obvious, also found out my tester isn't working so thats not helping. There's a fan in downstairs loo as well, could that cause an issue

    Tiling a bathroom. A basic question from an EXTREME novice!

    They dont look right do they and looking at the pics I cant see why your tiler cant do a better job of lining them up with wall tiles, to be honest it doesn't look like he's even attempted to. Tiles on floor can be lifted but he may break a few, but he should replace FOC.
