    pressure would drop on outlets and if you was having a shower and somebody else opened a hot water tap, anywhere else in the house, the shower water could get cold. For your house, stay away from a combi.

    changed the diverter valve and still same problem. Called in a corgi engineer and bingo the fault is as fella kuti thought. Main burner not going onto high fire in CH mode after 90 seconds, as the manual says. But wait, the corgi engineer is lost. he hasn't got a clue how to fix it...

    How can I check if the pump is faulty, i've checked and there is voltage ok to it. Is there anyway I can check it before replacing it with a new one.

    I think i'm stuck with the worst boiler on the planet! The tap water does actually fluctuate in temperature, sometimes very very hot.

    It's true, the boiler stays on and doesn't cut out at all, i've watched it for 20 minutes. I agree the heat has to go somewhere, its a combi boiler other than a hot water tap where else can the heat go. As i said there are bursts of very hot water through the flow pipe for a few seconds.

    Cold New Radiator

    Thanks for your help Eliteheat, I tried what you suggested but no improvement. Maybe new Rad is faulty or sludge stuck in it. Some other rads are now cold as well.

    Cold New Radiator

    I've replaced a single Rad with a double rad upstairs. The top of the radiator is hot but the bottom is cold. The inlet pipe is very hot but the outlet pipe is cold. Any suggestions
