    R-tistic license

    Can anybody tell me if it is acceptable to use multiple layers of foil insulation (eg Thermawrap) and simply multiply up the R value of one layer by the number of layers to get the overall R value? If possible, this would be a great space saver! Thanks in advance for any advice!

    My local DIY store sells 2.5mm2 cable which it says is suitable for up to 23 amps. Why is it then that it is normal to have a 30 amp fuse on a ring main? Also, does anyone know how to put the "2" in "mm2" in superscript?
