    Heated Towel Rail

I would hope the electrician sorted that when he fitted the towel rail? The towel rail was fitted earlier this year but had to be taken off so the wall behind could be plastered. I am just putting everything back as it was? How would I check this? Cheers L.

    Heated Towel Rail

Hello Apart from the flying earth (to the back box) Does this look wired correctly? It is a heated (and plumbed in) towel rail/warmer. Should the flying earth go from just one of the earths to the back box or from both? I rather stupidly forgot to take a photo when I took it off...

    Light Switch help?

It was only moved round a corner probably less than 10cm so the old cable might have done the job. I'll try replacing the switch and see if that works otherwise it will mean taking up carpet & floorboards. I will put red/brown sheathing on the other cables (not sure why the electrician didn't...

    Combi or Conventional Boiler

I am now swaying in the direction of a combi. The price we have for installation, new radiators etc. is rather tempting. It might even leave us with enough money to do the bathroom... assuming everything goes to plan i.e. budget (which it probably won't). :) Thanks L.

    Combi or Conventional Boiler

Electric shower is just in case the boiler goes wrong then we still have hot water to wash ourselves with. I thought that combis were meant for smaller flats and houses where as conventional boilers were for large houses? or is that not the case with newer combis? The combi option is very...

    Combi or Conventional Boiler

Hi We are trying to decide between getting a combi boiler and a conventional boiler. We've had several quotes for both, with one bloke thorougly recommending a conventional condensing boiler rather than a combi. The house is a 1950's/60's 3 bed semi, Roughly 5m side to side by 7.20m...
