I've been cleaning out my garage gutters, and there are loads of these things lying in the gutter ( see picture). It looks as though they've fallen out from under the tiles. Can anyone tell me what they are and suggest what my next step should be? I'm assuming just ignoring it is not an...

I have slackened off the small grub-screw - so much in fact that it has fallen out of the screw hole - but I still cannot get the handle off. I tried pulling both halves apart, but to no avail. I don't yet want to try and force it off in case I damage the handle, or worse still, the bath itself.
