thanks for that guys, no the reader is not specifically for the fiesta. it does seem to not be able to erase the codes though, but as you say the car is running fine so I wont worry too much.

i have an x reg fiesta, i checked the dtc codes the other day, and i got a code0045 which pertains to the turbo. this car does not have a turbo. why am i getting the code. the other codes were; 0721 0100 0004 0001 can any one explain these to me please. thanks chaza

well that was a great help, just in case anyone reads this and has the same problem, it turns out to be just a blocked injector, she has found her power and runs fine now, I hope its a shame no one could give any comments.
