Thanks breezer - difficult to get any skilled people, electricians, builders, plumbers. What I need is a way of accepting the first quote with reasonable confidence it is a fair price. Took many phone calls to get this electrician!!! 1+1=1

£35 per socket. Is this a reasonable rate for a new build. Works out to about £4000 inclusive for wiring a 4 bed house. Area is west wales. Nice guy, good ideas, so probably will accept. 1+1=1
