    hi pumps now running at full speed setting 3 , does look quite old as is boiler, I've pondered changing to new combi type but reading on here seems better to wait till my old one gives up the ghost .. Will look to change pump

    Strange rad problem

    got all other rads turned off , still no heat to problem rad , maybe pipe a little warmer leading to it .. Any ideas ? It's a downstairs rad with pipes coming down from upstairs so thinking its furthest from boiler as boiler in kitchen with pipes goin straight upstairs..update just started...

    After partial drain down to replace a leaking valve on upstairs rad , found that after refilling etc one rad downstairs stays cold , pipe to it gets hot until about 1 meter from rad . Iv removed rad to flush out also opened both valves to check not faulty, both fine .. I'm thinking could it be...

    was a mate did it ,hes a real electritian but cant get back to me as on his hols ,he reckons the switched lives wrong way round or something like that

    hi all just had new rcd board fitted replacing old fuse wire type ,getting rcds tripping when switching dining room lights on or upstairs landing light on ie both on same twin switch socket ,befor new fuse board fuses never blew although landing light could only be turned on or off from upstairs...
