    Mr Therm the pump is brand new complete with oil solenoid so I dont suspect sticking or faulty valve. It is the length of time after fan and ignition have started, it comes right at the end of the sequence just before lock out time. The previous solenoid /pump fired in a shorter time frame.

    Internal lugs on plastic Bentone drive coupling stripped on motor shaft, so will fire up short amount of time due to friction in drive coupling, but as it warms up the coupling spins on oil pump shaft and stops oil delivery.

    ooops missed Awowen post, ...... boiler locked out again. I suspect plunger in Danfoss oil pump. or control box or both. No click from solenoid before I took plunger out now clicks and allows oil flow, however with boiler now locked out and me too tired. Will check tomorrow Thanks for the help...

    coil energises, removed solenoid plunger, is it meant to move ? tapped it and re built. Now on start up solenoid clicks and boiler fires. Still running after 1 hour. May need to change pump plunger valve assembly
