    Marley Modern

Thanks Steve, If laying right to left, I'll need to start at a valley and hence a cut (at an angle) tile. Does this not make it difficult to finish exactly full tile at the eaves? Or is that just the trade off of an interlocking tile. Do you remove the interlock at eaves? I'm just...

Hi and thanks to all that reply, I have a few questions about the Marley Modern tile and would be grateful of your input. Most roofing merchant websites direct you to the Marley website but surprisingly I can't find the answers there! Hope I don't confuse anyone! Here goes: 1) To create a...

    16amp ring final?

That would have been easier! thanks. It wasn't to prove branches, just confirming the 2 circuits were a ring. I cannot prove the circuit hasn't been de-rated so am happy to leave the 16a MCB if the general consensus is it will not cause a problem.

    16amp ring final?

I isolated the supply, removed a double socket joined L and N for each leg and tested for continuity at the board if that makes sense.

    16amp ring final?

Thanks, I had considered that the circuit may have been de-rated and as the 16a MCB has caused no problems so far I'm happy not to have to confirm all the ifs! My only concern is for the MCB operating near is trip value. Do they not detect over current based on heat? Could this cause early...

    16amp ring final?

Hello and thanks to all that answer, I have a split load board with a ring final on each side. I noticed, the other day, that the ring on the RCD side has a 16a mcb. I know this is not usually the case and so double checked that it was a ring and not two radials. It is definitely a ring wired...

    'heat resistant' terminal strips?

The original connectors were clipped to the housing but i have used the existing plate to securely mount the connection strip. I think ceramic strips are the way forward, but will look to see if I can get a replacement from the manufacturer.

    wiring for lp111 and thermostat

I'm liking the look of that! I got blinkered into fixing the programmer fault and then adding a stat. Instead of solving them both at the same time! Is this device widely used for this set up? thanks for answering the other questions.
