    Honeywell Motorized Valve Buzzing

Update Bought the replacement head this morning from Screwfix, fitted this afternoon, a bit of stress when I thought it wasn't working then realised tank was already hot and not calling for heat, turned tank thermostat up a touch and all looks okay, couldn't hear any buzzing so hopefully will be...

    Honeywell Motorized Valve Buzzing

My system is about 25 years old and is a Megaflow sealed system and have just found the other end of the cable coming from the valve and the white wire has been cut off flush with outer sheathing, so looks like white wire isn't needed. So I assume I can get the replacement head in your Screwfix...

    Honeywell Motorized Valve Buzzing

Thanks Exedon, does it state what each colour wire is connected to in the valve or maybe I have to just open to check connections?

    Honeywell Motorized Valve Buzzing

I have finally got round to looking at the wiring connections to my Hot water valve, I can see the 3 wires connected to the switch, orange, grey and white. According to the diagram shown above on the valve cover I can just make out the Grey is N/O and the White is N/C so assume the orange is...

    Honeywell Motorized Valve Buzzing

Would this one be okay, Link it is a complete valve but assume I could just replace the body? The detail on the label looks the same as the old one and seems to be a bit cheaper even with postage.

I have a Honeywell Motorized Valve for the hot water and recently it has been buzzing, quite loud some days but not always. It is a sort of resonating sound so not sure if okay to leave it or replace it. Here is a photo of the valve, maybe someonw will know if it part of it can be replaced...

    Siemens SN66T052GB Dishwasher Leak

I have had the usual E15 leak code show and after investigating by looking at bottom of washer after removing lower front panel I can see water dripping from the seal between the steel and plastic filter and pump housing. Can I buy a replacement seal and is it easy to replace? The machine is...

    ACL Lifestyle Valve switch problem

Thanks for your reply oldbuffer, unfortunately the valve is located almost at floor level on the ground floor so most of system will be drained apart underfloor pipework I guess. Okay so the locking lever would work if I have annex heating on with main house. Did you see my earlier question of...

    ACL Lifestyle Valve switch problem

Okay so no replies to my question which was a bit complicated maybe... Perhaps another option for me is to keep the valve open all the time, I understand there is a lock lever on the valve.. Which is the best way to use this option as I have read the valve closes back to normal when powered...

    ACL Lifestyle Valve switch problem

Unfortunately it is a unvented Megaflow system so guess that means a full drain... Didn't really want to do this now we need heating everyday, was wondering if I could do something temporary like this... As it is a secondary circuit to heat a rarely used annex, I can get heat in there when the...

    ACL Lifestyle Valve switch problem

I have a system with two circuits operated via two 2 port Lifestyle valves. The main house circuit works fine via a separate Hive thermostat, the second circuit was an annex with another valve operated via another Hive thermostat. I noticed the boiler didn't always start when the annex heating...

    Concealed Geberit Leak

Thanks for the reply Olaf, I have spoken to Geberit technical support and the notches at bottom of basket do nothing, I have done all that you mention, leak seems to be coming from below black doughnut seal somehow, have sent photos to Geberit tech dept, hoping to get help.

    Concealed Geberit Leak

I have a problem with a very small trickle running into pan, I have replaced the inlet washer and checked water level, no difference. I have then replaced the valve washer as mention by lots on different forums but no difference. The only bit left is the large black basket washer, however I...

    Honeywell CMT921 Operation?

Thanks for the reassurance, so may not be a duff one after all, will see how it goes for a while, I do have an nPower service contract but wasn't sure what type of wireless thermostats they fit and found this one on Ebay. So fingers crossed it may be okay...

    Honeywell CMT921 Operation?

Ah, thanks Boilerman2, so it is in effect a sort of lag otherwise would be switching boiler on/off all the time, didn't notice it with the BG wireless one though, perhaps the Honeywell one is a bit more intelligent...

    Honeywell CMT921 Operation?

I have just bought a Honeywell CMT921 wireless thermostat on Ebay. I have just installed it in place of my BG one which was intermittently failing to switch motorized valve even though green receiver light was on. My question is, there seems to be a lot of "tolerance" as to when the...
