i am having central heating fitted from scratch in average 3 bed semi, have got all the kit (boiler and pipe etc) have got all plastic pipe for under floors but copper for any rad tails etc have lifted all the floor boards for him plumber wants £650 to fit does that sound expensive??

did you get this sorted?? i have the exact same problem on mine stalling at junctions all the time ... i think i have traced the fault to the ISV (idle stabelisation valve) but i havent replaced it yet...

well after trying to pump fernox through it just blocked solid and i couldnt get anything through.... so i thought id have one last attempt and pumped it backwards through the system and.... WOOSHH!! it cleared!! so ran another 4 mixes of solution through to make sure and the heats back the...

yea will try that, but on the cold feed there is a sink "T'd" off the same pipe just before the boiler connection and the pressure to that seems very good but i will check and report back! thanks for all the help so far!

sorry yes your right the "flow turbine" is nothing like a divertor valve its a white plastic box with a filter on the inlet pipe and a flow adjuster on it, i have cleaned it out but im wondering iff the flow adjuster maby faulty as if i turn it in or out and adjusts nothing! ill pull it apart...

hi do you mean the filter in the body of the flow switch housing/valve?? if so i have checked that one and its clean?
