    Thanks for your reply, I should have mentioned If I turn upstairs rads off, downstairs rads do get warmer but still not hot enough.

    Yeah they are specifically for a one pipe system, the plumber who changed them had to wait a day for them to come in, rads even with normal valves have the same issue. Thanks

    Haha yep best of british! Its 28mm pipe then splits to 15 at each rad and has been working perfectly until now? It was installed before I moved in and this was 21years ago! Not efficient I know but the rads get scorching, thays before its stopped working and this is the first time in 21years...
