Well guys its done - i'm afraid it took a man to do it but even he struggled and had to use WD40 and BRUT force... However, the tap is now working perfectly....Was going to swap out the cold tap valve but BRUT force and WD40 wouldn't move it....just have to wait until I can find a stronger man...

:? which means what? I've tried removing it in a clockwise direction - no anti-clockwise......

:oops: Well the valve has arrived and I've stripped the tap down in order to remove the old valve but guess what? I'm too weak to shift it, whilst pulling on the spanner it feels like I'm going to pull the whole tap out of the socket!! Any ideas? Tips? does something else need to be removed in...

Monday morning, my hot water tap wouldn\\\'t turn off on my kitchen mixer this morning. I took the hot tap handle off and tried to reset it in a different place on the cogs but it still wouldn\\\'t turn off - only seems to turn a 1/4 turn!!! Was running late for work so turned it off at stop...
