The pump was installed under 3years ago now and have had no trouble untill a couple of days ago .

hi guys , Having a problem with my shower pump . when having or turning on the shower the pump starts but shortly after stops running . Can leave for a while and start it up again and does exactly the same thing . Any ideas ? its a New team Duraspeed serial or model number 044516

Got it from our local plumb trade counter , the guy gave me their equivallent of X400 that aparently all the plumbers in the area use so took that as he had no X400 in stock . Did ask what the difference was I,E if it was stronger etc .. he said no different to X400 .

Rebuilt the pipe work flushed out the system and then installed new pump and actuator yesterday . Put a bottle of sludge and flux remover into the system via tank and then refilled as instruction's said . O first filling the system i was still getting no hot water and heating so bled the rad's...

i bought 2x compression T's 1 22m equal and 1 x2 22mm with a 15mm and for the bends i was going to use Elbow's would this be ok rather than a bent pipe ? and also bought isolating valve in case of any future probs to shut off the tank .

here's where i was going to make my cut's .. does this seem ok . the magnet stick's around both the "T" joint's and marked my cut on the pump pipe where there is no attraction to the magnet .

went and bought a magnetic pickup tool from halford's quite a handy thing . anyhow the pick that chrisr done his magic pen on the whole of that green area is full of magnetic sludge !! . so i'm thinking maybe replace that whole area cut back the piping and replace using compression fitting's ...

Ok drained the rad's downstair's tie'd the ballcock But tank is not empty'ing due to the pipe blockage where the magnet is in this pic i Guess ? .

Just looked in the main fuse box i have switches for : downstair lights / Light's up / Sockets left / sockets right / cooker and Water Heater . I presume Water Heater switch will turn off the power to the Honeywell circuit box that pump etc connects to ?

Just checked F and V pipe and they are as you say going to the smaller tank in the loft .. this tank also has a lot of bits floating in the tank itself .

Right gotta pick the sprogs up from school . But chris that upward pointing branch goes nowhere just above that picture it stops and has a Bung in place . and have checked with the magnet around F and V pipes and it doesnt stick to pipe . only pipe it sticks to is in above picture .
