What happens if you connect your spare 12v supply to the input of the junction box?
I can't imagine there is much to go wrong in the junction box. Does it come apart?
Piece of wood inside the shed just behind the cable inlet and screw through and into the wood? Then drill a hole for the cable through the wood or do it first but easier to drill through than trying to line up holes.
have you got a local hardware shop as by the time you pay postage on that from kenable it will probably be cheaper from a local shop. or have you got a suitable lehgth of cable in the house already and just need a plug?
Good point! Should go in this one

how I managed to reply in the wrong thread I don't know? Perhaps it's my age!......
Looks like there would be enough room for a 20mm hole at the sides (where the very very badly drawn circles are!!!)
mods!! I have replied to the wrong post could you move it please. Ta,
pic 2 seems to show a conduit entry on the left but cant see it on pic 3? you could just drill a 20mm hole in the appropiate side and fit a conduit coupler
and a bit of silicon wouldnt go amiss round the top cable entry hole that seems designed to let in water
Surely if the supply goes from the op's house to next door then SSE could just remove the loop and then tell next door "we will need access and to dig across the garden if you want Lecky!!"
as title, doncaster cables are to launch a new range of twin and earth cables with preinsulated cpc. 1.0/1.5 and 2.5 initially but they hope to sell all sizes soon
